  • 6 oz (170g) dark chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • ¼ cup (30g) all-purpose flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: cocoa powder for dusting, ice cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare ramekins
    Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease 6-ounce ramekins and dust with cocoa powder.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter
    Melt chocolate and butter together until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  3. Prepare batter
    Whisk eggs, egg yolks, and powdered sugar until pale. Fold in chocolate mixture, then gently fold in flour and salt.
  4. Fill ramekins and bake
    Divide batter among prepared ramekins. Bake 12–14 minutes until edges are set but center is soft.
  5. Serve immediately
    Run a knife around edges, invert, and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
